自傳

 

  廖先順教授畢業於國立交通大學機械工程學系,取得學士與碩士學位。畢業後,他進入中央研究院物理研究所的表面與奈米科學實驗室,負責開發先進的原子力顯微鏡(AFM)。同期間,他於國立臺灣大學機械工程學研究所攻讀博士學位,並於 2013 年取得博士學位。其博士論文研究內容為自行開發一套原子力顯微鏡系統,以實現在液相環境中的高解析度影像。此系統隨後在中央研究院物理研究所進一步改良,用以實現高速影像技術。

 

  2014 年,他前往美國國家衛生研究院(NIH)之奈米儀器與力譜部門(Nanoinstrumentation and Force Spectroscopy Section)從事研究,探索生醫應用並開發新的生醫影像技術。2016 年起,他加入國立臺灣大學機械工程學系任教,現為副教授。其研究領域包括高速原子力顯微鏡(High-speed AFM)、材料機械性質量測,以及高精度儀器開發。

掃描探針顯微術、精密致動與感測器、奈米尺度機械特性量測。

 

 

實驗研究方向

 

奈米儀器實驗室致力於發展奈米級精密量測儀器以及其中之控制系統、致動器、感測器等關鍵元件,並將其運用於各種科學探索以及工業應用中。目前的研究主題有:

 

(1) 高速原子力顯微鏡之開發:此技術可應用於觀測奈米尺度樣品之動態影像,我們利用自行開發之系統進行奈米氣泡之形成以及蛋白分子之自組裝等研究

(2) 像散式光學輪廓儀之開發:像散式光學輪廓儀具有光點小、低成本等優勢,我們自行開發此一技術,並進一步達到量化高度量測以及高速掃描等功能

(3) 結合光學顯微鏡之原子力顯微鏡系統:光學顯微鏡可利用光譜等技術分析樣品材料,而原子力顯微鏡則可提供高解析度影像以及力學分析,此一整合系統將可大幅擴展其應用領域。
