何亦平教授於國立清華大學取得動力機械工程學系學士與碩士學位,並於美國約翰霍普金斯大學獲得機械工程博士學位。在杜克大學生物醫學工程學系完成博士後研究後,她榮獲丹麥研究委員會頒發的青年菁英研究員獎,並於丹麥奧胡斯大學的跨領域奈米科學中心與分子生物暨遺傳學系展開其獨立研究生涯。她於2016年加入香港中文大學,此後於生物醫學工程學系教授任教近10年。她的研究聚焦於開發奈米感測器與微流體技術作為診斷工具,以拓展疾病檢測與治療評估的能力。
