研究領域
Research Interests
本實驗室研究之發展方向可分為以下三大主題:

  1. 先進製造技術與智慧製造
  2. 此主題著重於運用先進電腦科學技術(如機器視覺、數據處理等技術)來達到智慧製造的目標,包括過程中的即時偵錯及除錯,並結合人工智慧來達到製程優化及永續發展。本實驗室主要會發展積層製造(3D列印)之智慧製造相關研究,進而拓展到其他加工過程(如精密CNC加工等)。

  3. 生醫醫療製造
  4. 此主題會著重於製造領域知識與技術在醫療上的應用,從人體組織基礎切削原理、計算力學建模、到數據處理等相關研究,利用製造相關原理去分析手術器械/機台與人體之間的交互作用關係,進而改善現有手術過程或優化機器人手術表現。

     

  5. 創新醫療器材設計與產品開發
  6. 此主題著重於轉譯醫學應用與創新醫療器材之設計開發,並結合新的製造技術如多軸CNC加工技術與3D列印,來達到設計精準化、最佳化、及客製化,並將基礎工程知識帶入實際醫療應用中。應用範例包含軟式穿戴型裝置,客製化輔具、手術用支架、人體模擬器等。

 

This lab has three research themes:

  1. Smart Manufacturing Process
  2. This theme aims to explore advanced machine vision and data science technologies for smart manufacturing which offers capabilities of real-time process monitoring and correction, and artificial intelligence decision-making to optimize product quality and improve process sustainability. Target applications include additive manufacturing (3D printing) and CNC machining.

  3. Biomedical Manufacturing
  4. This theme focuses on applying manufacturing knowledge to reveal mechanics in various surgical procedures. Topics range from fundamental cutting mechanics, computational modeling, to data process and analysis. A deep understanding of mechanics of surgical procedures can establish operational guidelines to benefit both physicians and existing robotic systems.

  5. Innovative Medical Device Development
  6. This theme focuses on utilizing advanced manufacturing technologies, such as multi-axis CNC precision machining and additive manufacturing (3D printing), to provide innovative solutions for medical applications. Examples include soft customized wearables, surgical stents, and medical simulator models. This theme also aims to transfer basic engineering research into real clinical products.
