The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers undergraduate program for students pursuing a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree and graduate programs for those pursuing a Master of Science (M.S.) degree or a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree. B.S. and M.S. graduates may pursue advanced degrees in either mechanical engineering or other departments in the College of Engineering or in the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Our rigorous training in fundamental science and mathematics also meets the requirements for graduates who wish to change paths to the College of Science and the College of Management.
